More like a cellar than a dungeon, the Hufflepuff common room is brightly lit and cheery. It may not be above ground, but it still radiates warmth and happiness. It's found behind a statue of Edgar the Edible, who carries a basket of food.

[ ]Entrance Hall
A high-ceilinged room with marble staircase and pathways to the dungeons, the Entrance Hall is majestic.

[ ]Great Hall
A beautiful room with enchanted ceiling, students from all houses gather to eat and even study here. Four long house tables sit in front of the High Table, where the professors dine. Golden plates and goblets don the tables at mealtimes and candles hover above them all.

As you walk into the office on the first floor transfiguration corridor, you see before you a marvellous room with bookshelves filled with books, muggle and wizarding. The bookshelves stretch from where you are on the left side, around the walls, and back to your right. You see a man sitting at the middle desk with two seats in front. "Hello, how are you today? What can I do for you? Have a seat, please, and tell me your troubles."

[ ]Astronomy Tower
Used mainly for classes (but is a rumoured good spot for a date), it's the largest tower, so has an unobstucted view of the sky.

A circular room with portraits of past Headmasters and Headmistresses, her residence is also here. A magnificent chair stands behind a large oak desk, in front of which are two more chairs. Bookshelves and cabinets line the room, holding strange instruments and devices.

A round room accessible by a ladder, the Divination room is the ideal setting for such a "gifted" lesson.

A round room with glassless windows, the owls rest here during the day. Their owners are allowed there at all times (except after dark), and those who don't have an owl can use a school one.

Situated on the West side of the castle, the Ravenclaw common room is behind a silver door, and will only open to a password. It, like the other common rooms, is round, but has many windows.

Grounds
[ ]Courtyard
A courtyard in the centre of the castle provides shelter from the rain, snow and wind, but not from the biting cold. Paved, but scattered with trees, it's a good spot to sit during the cold winter months.

Green lawns stretch out in all directions, down to the lake, the forest, the Quidditch Pitch ... they're always well kept.

Dark and dangerous, students rarely venture into the Forest. Werewolves, unicorns and centaurs are among the creatures living here. As its name suggests, the forest is out-of-bounds and any student found there will be in trouble.
